Akriti is a registered General Psychologist with a Masters in Psychology (Counselling Psychology) from Melbourne, Australia. She has experience working in both the private and public sectors with families and individuals with mental health disorders and complex situations relating to trauma, abuse, neglect, and family violence. She has worked with individuals of all age groups- from children to older adults. She has also successfully conducted parenting programs aimed at helping parents of teenagers. These evidence-based programs focus on improving parent-child relationships and the children’s emotional competence and behavior through emotional coaching parenting.
