Nepali Myths about Newborn Care

This is further made challenging with a list of dos and don’ts imposed by cultural beliefs. In the tug-of-war between traditional practices and modern-day notions, moms are often unsure about what is best for their little ones.

Dr. Surabhi is a Pediatrician at TUTH (Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital) where she has been working for the past 4 years and providing services related to children’s general health check-ups, vaccination, breastfeeding, nutrition, counselling and neonatal care.
