It is natural for expecting mothers to want to flaunt their gorgeous baby bump and parents to want to preserve every precious moment they can with their little one. What better way to do so than through photographs! These days, maternity photoshoots and baby photography are more creative than ever, with props, themed backgrounds and much more.
For photography sessions, photography studios and freelance photographers are hired for either a session at your own home, an outdoor session or at their studio. Outdoor photoshoots for maternity are held at peaceful locations or locations selected by the clients as per their desire. Most places provide dresses, props and makeup in the packages they offer.
Most photo studios and photographers recommend pregnant mothers (if they do not approach them for their photoshoots before the second trimester) to take their maternity photos during the end of the second trimester, around 6 to 8months, as they are more active and their baby bump is also prominent. For newborn shoots, the best time is when the baby is 5- 15 days old.

3. Bumps and babies photography Anju Rai, the founder of this platform is a mother and a full-time photographer. Most of their sessions are done at their studio, but if one wishes, an outdoor shoot is also possible but it is charged extra. Their services and packages for photoshoot sessions including the timings, prices, when are the best time to do a photoshoot, what you will get at the end of the session (prints, digital files), makeup and dresses etc. are all written here on their website.
